Who We Are

The Lowell Weekender is an independent local event guide covering arts, music, markets, and community happenings in Lowell, Massachusetts. It is published weekly by @978Live (external site), a Lowell-focused local media project.

The Lowell Weekender is not affiliated with the City of Lowell or any particular venue or event organizer. Event listings do not constitute endorsements.

How We Collect Events

Each week, events are gathered from a range of local sources: Mosaic Lowell, InsideLowell, Lowell National Historical Park, Pollard Memorial Library, Warp & Weft, Taffeta Music Hall, Lowell Memorial Auditorium, Tsongas Center, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, and others. These are reviewed and curated by hand before each edition goes out.

Recurring events are tracked across editions so they carry forward automatically. Event organizers can also submit events directly via the Submit Event form.

Accuracy and Updates

We make every effort to verify event details before publishing - times, venues, and descriptions - but schedules can change after we go to print. Always check the event organizer's website before attending.
